All in all SCANeR II is a driving simulator mega pack. Setting up and running a simulator is relatively easy (but it is suggested to go through the manuals). For creating your own traffic scenarios, database and experiments you will probably need more time.
We have tried to cover the most important and interesting aspects of the SCANeRII product. But there are modules which haven't described in detail. Sound rendering, motion platform rendering, data collector (for recording, replay and scientific data visualization), video recording and eye tracking are among those.
SCANeR II is available as a COTS product with technical support and documentation and ideal for small to large driving simulation applications. It is available directly from OKTAL or it's subsidaries and official resellers. Research institutes and universities are entitled to a specific academic discount when purchasing software licenses directly from OKTAL.
