Cross-product interoperability, 3rd party product integration and unmatched support for open standards eliminates tool integration bottlenecks and improves delivery timelines
London, UK – ITEC 2010 – May 18, 2010 - Presagis™, a world leader in commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) modeling, simulation, and embedded display graphics software, today announced a partnership and reseller agreement with Scalable Network Technologies (SNT).
 Available since March, Creator 4.1 adds some new capabilities features to its already very wide array of capabilities.
The first of these features is the new P3D exporter that can output your models to the Virtual Battlespace 2 file format (VBS2).
While the model creation process is identical to the creation of any model in Creator, specific VBS2 parameters can be configured when you export the model, such as indicating the type of model (vehicle, house, tree, etc…) and how it will cast shadows in VBS2. The exporter will also use all data available in the model, including the multiple levels of detail (LOD) that you have defined in the OpenFlight file, and export them to the P3D format.

Mixed live and virtual training delivers realistic scenarios for frontline aircrew

Rapidly and Easily Develop Customizable Large Scale Simulation Applications
In order to run dense simulations, users must generally split a scenario between multiple computers using cloud computing or distributed exercises that often make use of classic network tricks. Presagis Lyra and Lyra Sensors COTS Visual Runtime software were integrated into the training system to provide realistic out-the-window, infrared sensor, and night vision goggle views for the fighter jet scenarios. The Presagis Technical Services team also supported the development of the simulator’s Visual Database.
