Montreal, July 6, 2010 – (NYSE: CAE; TSX: CAE) – CAE today announced that it was awarded C$55 million at list prices in new training solutions contracts with Bombardier, ATR, Vietnam Airlines, and a U.S.-based legacy airline. The contracts include the sale of four full-flight simulator (FFS) orders which bring the total FFS sales that CAE has announced during fiscal year 2011 to six.

Montreal, January 19, 2010 – (NYSE: CAE; TSX: CAE) – CAE today announced that it has sold Airbus A320 and A330 CAE 7000 Series full-flight simulators (FFS) to Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Company (SEFTC), the training subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines. The contract, valued at approximately C$30 million at list prices, brings the total FFS sales that CAE has announced during fiscal year 2010 to 14.

CAE also announced it received an order cancellation of one simulator that was sold during a prior fiscal year.

The A320 and A330 FFSs, as well as brief-debrief stations, will be delivered to SEFTC in 2011. The simulators will incorporate full six-degree-of-freedom CAE True electric motion systems and new-generation CAE Tropos-6000 visual systems, including liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) projectors and 200- by 40-degree field-of-view visual displays. Both simulators will be certified to Level D, the highest qualification for flight simulators.

Montreal, December 14, 2009 – (NYSE: CAE; TSX: CAE) – CAE today announced that its CAE Flightscape and CAE USA businesses have been selected by Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) for a demonstration/validation initiative to demonstrate the benefits of applying Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) concepts to the full-flight simulator (FFS) training environment for accident prevention and mishap reduction. The demonstration/validation initiative is funded by the U.S. Defense Safety Oversight Council (DSOC) through the National Defense Center for Energy and Environment (NDCEE) and is operated by CTC.

The concept, known as Simulator Operations Quality Assurance (SOQA), will involve researchers collecting statistics generated from flight data from FFS training sessions for comparison with statistics from flight data from the actual aircraft (MFOQA). The SOQA initiative will also explore the potential for developing evidenced-based training scenarios using objective flight data from known MFOQA events or mishaps.

These contracts are valued at approximately C$25 million at list price and include the first two FFS sales that CAE has announced for fiscal year 2010.

Montreal, March 10, 2009 – CAE has signed contracts and alliances in simulation-based healthcare training. They are with the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences in Toronto, the Université de Montréal and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The contracts have an initial total value of approximately C$5 million.

Anaheim, Calif., February 24, 2009 – Today at the Heli-Expo show, AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, and CAE announced that AgustaWestland AW139 initial helicopter type rating and recurrent training is now available in Morristown, New Jersey, USA. The training programs are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under part 142.

The AgustaWestland program utilizes a newly approved Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certified Level D AW139 full-flight simulator, located at CAE’s Northeast Training Center (NETC).

The addition of the AW139 program in the North East United States dramatically increases the full-flight simulator capacity available for AW139 customers and allows AgustaWestland to provide its growing AW139 customer base with Level D simulator training close to their home base. The simulator is configured with the upgraded 4-axis autopilot system, thereby utilizing the latest training technologies to improve safety, reduce pilot workload and lessen overall cost of AW139 ownership.

Dubai, U.A.E., November 11, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) has signed today at the Dubai Helishow, a five-year contract with Gulf Helicopter Company (GHC) to be their exclusive training provider for the company’s fleet of Bell helicopters.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gulf Helicopter Bell 412 pilots will undergo specialized training to meet special mission and regulatory requirements of GHC. Training will take place at Emirates-CAE Flight Training in Dubai. The training program includes simulator training on the CAE Bell 412 full-flight simulator, enhanced classroom-based training and crew resource management (CRM).

Burgess Hill, U.K., October 29, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – CAE today announced that the upgraded Warrior Observation Post Vehicle (WOPV) simulators provided by CAE to the British Army have successfully completed acceptance trials at the Royal School of Artillery (RSA) at Larkhill, United Kingdom.

The WOPV simulators provide advanced training to Warrior crews in the direction and coordination of joint fires utilizing the vehicle’s full range of sensors and target acquisition equipment. Each CAE-built WOPV simulator consists of three networked simulated vehicles and three instructor-operator stations. Each vehicle simulator comprises a high fidelity turret, a driver’s cab, and a rear compartment with simulated radar and communications equipment. The simulators can be used individually, or collectively using distributed interactive simulation. The simulators are containerized to permit deployment to operational theatres by road, rail, air and sea.

Montreal, October 28, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – CAE today announced that JetBlue Airways has signed a contract for CAE True™ Airport, a subscription-based service that keeps visual databases current with rapidly changing airport environments.

Under the terms of the five-year contract, CAE will ensure that five airport databases used by JetBlue for pilot training are maintained current and up-to-date. The five airport databases that will be maintained for JetBlue are John F. Kennedy (JFK) in New York, Logan International Airport in Boston, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, and Long Beach Airport in California. JetBlue currently operates seven CAE-built full-flight simulators (four A320 and three Embraer 190) that are used for pilot training at JetBlue University in Orlando, Florida.

Rotorsim Signs NH90 Simulator And Maintenance Contracts With Netherlands Ministry of Defence Valued at €50 Million (C$80 million)

Den Haag, The Netherlands, August 7, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – Rotorsim, the consortium owned equally by CAE and AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, today announced it has signed contracts with the Netherlands Ministry of Defence to provide comprehensive NH90 helicopter training systems and services. The total value of the contracts is approximately €50 million (C$80 million).

As part of the Joint NH90 Training Program (JNTP), Rotorsim will have prime contractor responsibility for providing one NH90 full-mission flight trainer (FMFT) and an NH90 virtual sensor trainer for training rear crew sensor operators. This will be the first NH90 FMFT for the naval variant (NFH – NATO Frigate Helicopter) of the NH90 helicopter, which is designed primarily for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and anti-surface warfare (ASuW) missions. Following delivery of the NH90 training devices to the Rotorsim Training Centre in 2011, Rotorsim will then have a multi-year responsibility for operation and maintenance services of the NH90 training systems.

The purchase price paid on closing will be C$15.1 million with an additional C$11.0 million to be paid contingent upon the occurrence of certain events for a potential total purchase price of $26.1 million.

xwave’s DSA team supplies real-time software and systems for simulation, training, defence, and integrated lifecycle information management for the aerospace and defence industries. The division employs approximately 200 people in Ottawa, Ontario; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Esquimalt, British Columbia.

RAF Benson, U.K., June 10, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – The Medium Support Helicopter Aircrew Training Facility (MSHATF), owned and operated at Royal Air Force (RAF) base Benson by CAE Aircrew Training Services Plc, will be connected to JMNIAN, the United Kingdom’s high-speed national secure data highway, under an initiative funded by the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MoD) and CAE.

When the connection is operative later this year, the Chinook, Merlin and Puma helicopter aircrews training at MSHATF will be able to participate in networked training and mission rehearsal exercises with U.K. defence forces at bases around the country. These locations include the Aviation Training International Limited (ATIL) Apache attack helicopter training facility at Middle Wallop, the Combined Arms Tactical Training (CATT) facility at Warminster, and, in the future, the Mission Training through Distributed Simulation (MTDS) facility at RAF Waddington.

Burgess Hill, U.K., June 10, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – CAE today announced that Lockheed Martin has awarded CAE U.K. plc a contract to design and manufacture two Hawk 128 full-mission simulators (FMSs) and related training support services as part of the U.K.’s Military Flying Training System (MFTS) program. The contract is valued at more than C$24 million (£11.8 million). Contract options for maintenance and support services could bring the total value to more than C$48 million (£24 million).

The U.K. MFTS program is a private finance initiative (PFI) led by Ascent, a joint venture of Lockheed Martin and VT Group. Ascent will provide comprehensive training to all new U.K. military aircrew across the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force (RAF).

Sabena Flight Academy (SFA) specializes in ab-initio pilot training as well as type-rating training for airlines. It operates an ab-initio flight academy equipped with approximately 40 aircraft in Mesa, Arizona, USA, and a six-simulator training centre in Brussels, Belgium. Sabena Flight Academy is a JAA- and JAR-approved Flight Training Organization (FTO) with 135 employees and more than 50 years of experience in professional pilot training.

Tampa, Fla., May 21, 2008 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – CAE USA has won a competitive procurement to design and manufacture MH-60R avionics maintenance trainers (AMT) for the United States Navy. The contract is valued at over US$16 million including options.

The MH-60R AMT will provide transition and readiness training for MH-60R avionics electronics technicians. The maintenance training device will be used to demonstrate, instruct and provide hands-on experience on maintaining the MH-60R helicopter, which is used by the Navy for anti-submarine warfare and surface attack. The initial MH-60R AMT will be delivered to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) in Jacksonville, Florida in 2010.

EBACE, Geneva, Switzerland, May 20, 2008 – CAE and Bombardier Aerospace began offering pilot and technical training on Global Express aircraft at the CAE Burgess Hill training centre in the U.K., marking the first time that training on Global Express aircraft has been made available in Europe. The program is the first operational milestone of the 20-year Authorized Training Provider agreement signed by CAE and Bombardier in June 2007, which designates CAE as Bombardier’s Authorized Training Provider for Global Express, Global 5000, Global Express XRS and Challenger 300 aircraft. In May 2008, the agreement was expanded to include Learjet 40/40 XR and Learjet 45/45 XR aircraft training in Europe.

The expansion of the CAE North East Training Centre is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2008. CAE also announced the entry into service of its Gulfstream G450/550 full-flight simulator and the arrival of a Hawker Beechcraft 800XPi full-flight simulator on site.
