Fredrikstad, Norway, 8 July 2010 – Updating its recognised industry-standard F32 series of projectors to a class-leading 8000 lumens, projectiondesign® has now made the model available for immediate delivery.
With comprehensive changes to optics and colour processing, the updated F32 series now delivers up to an unprecedented 8000 lumens brightness on select models. Available in a wide range of application specific configurations, and in both WUXGA, 1080p, and SXGA+ resolutions, the F32 series is considered by many as the most configurable installation projector available anywhere.
One of the world’s largest rollouts of full-mission ship bridge simulation technology uses projectiondesign
Fredrikstad, Norway, 18 May 2010 – In what is without question one of the world’s largest rollouts of full-mission video simulation technology, Norway’s projectiondesign® has supplied some 21 of its F82 series 3-chip DLP® projectors to FORCE Technology’s Division for Maritime Industry. As part of the same installation, which was completed by the customer’s own systems integration engineers, five of projectiondesign’s F32 series DLP projectors have also been added to the DMI facility.
Located in the Danish city Lyngby, the Division for Maritime Industry’s simulation centre trains ship-owners, operators, and maritime training organizations with a comprehensive array of full-mission simulators, wind tunnels, and deep and shallow water towing tanks. As part of a major technological upgrade, earlier this year the centre’s management decided to equip its marine simulators with visual systems at the highest level of realism.

Tim started his professional life in retail store management in the UK before moving to Saudi Arabia and then the UAE, and progressing into regional business development with Disney Consumer products throughout the Middle East In 1999 he became Regional Business Manager for Quadriga EMEA Ltd (entertainment and communications systems for hotels), looking after the Middle East and Turkey. Outside of his work commitments, Tim is chairman of Dubai Dragons Rugby Club, actively involved in the Gulf Rugby community and a passionate follower of the game.
Network-based set-up, control and maintenance for projectiondesign’s entire projector and MIPS™ processor ranges
Fredrikstad, Norway, 8 February 2010 – The very first edition of projectiondesign’s upgraded ProNet 2.0 scalable network asset management software was shown on the projectiondesign stand 1I31 at Integrated Systems Europe 2010.
The new software is designed for managing an unlimited number of projectors from a single site, using standard TCP/IP or RS232 communication.
The FR12 is part of projectiondesign’s exciting programme to vitalise and revolutionise the future of projector installations.
Fredrikstad, Norway, 25 January 2010 – Norwegian projector manufacturer projectiondesign® presents its latest innovation in projection technology with the preview of the FR12 Remote Light Source™ projector at Integrated Systems Europe 2010.
The patent pending FR12 Remote Light Source (RLS) concept relocates the lamps from the projector to a rack-mount enclosure up to 30 meters away from the projector head. Light from the 19-inch rack-mounted RLS illuminates the projector head via an innovative Liquid Light Guide (LLG).

Norway’s projectiondesign® supplies five F22 sx+ projectors to upgrade river pilot event simulator - Fredrikstad, Norway, 22 January 2010 – In a further example of how its technologies can help end customers save time, money, and resources, Norway’s projectiondesign® has supplied five of its F22 sx+ DLP® projectors to the Port of London Authority for use in its Ship Bridge Simulator.

Multi-image processing system offers state-of-the-art image blending and geometry correction
Fredrikstad, Norway, 25 November 2009 – Making a global debut at I/ITSEC ‘09, Norway’s projectiondesign® will launch the MIPS WB2560, an all-new multi-image processing system offering state-of-the-art high performance image blending and geometry correction for 2-D and 3-D display in scientific visualization, training and simulation applications in the military, security, education and aerospace sectors.
Fredrikstad, Norway, 7 October 2009 – Norway’s projectiondesign is set to showcase their latest in high resolution LED and 3D projection display technologies at Spain’s first IberSim training & simulation networking event taking place between 27-28 October, 2009 in Madrid, Spain.
Projectiondesign, a global provider of high performance projectors, has supplied 11 F2 SX+ DLP® projectors for an upgrade to a three-year-old Search and Rescue (SAR) simulator. This full-mission competence-based training simulator is owned and operated by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), and is based at the Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset, in the United Kingdom. RGB Communications supplied the projectors to Antycip SAS (simulation division UK), who were responsible for the design and integration of the upgrade.
