Tampa, Fla., March 29, 2004 - (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - CAE USA has been awarded a US$16 million (C$21 million) contract to develop and implement a new common environment and common database (CE/CDB) architecture for the U.S. Army’s elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment - Airborne.
Montreal, March 26, 2004 - (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - CAE has received its 15th full-flight simulator order this fiscal year. The Embraer ERJ 145 simulator is to be delivered in spring 2005 to China Southern Airlines.
The device will be equipped with a CAE Tropos™ visual system and will support the training needs of China’s Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft operators. China Southern Airlines recently purchased six of these aircraft.
At list prices, the contract is worth approximately C$17 million.
